What audience would be more likely to pick up this magazine?

Front cover changes.

This is my first attempt at the front cover. After experimenting with this picture I have decided to change the main background picture and maybe include another picture at the bottom of the page. I like this picture but I think that it doesnt quite have the look I am after. It looks quite simple and boring and I dont want my cover to look like that. It doesnt really look like a music magazine cover. I also dont like the way the mast head is placed it is too plain.
I am glad that I decided to do this draft as I have found that this hasnt worked for me and I still have time to change it.
I think that some of the pictures I was going to use for my contents page may work better and so I will have different pictures for that. It has now appeared to me that by taking a range of photographs has benefited me as I have the choice to use different pictures.
I like this picture but I was going to use it for my contents page. I have decided against this and so have deiced that I will use this picture on my fornt cover. The two photos I will also use are similar to the one I will use on my contents page. The picture I will use is the stage area at the freedom festival as that is relevent to my magazine. I will use that picture and another similar to it also from the freedom festival to feature at the bottom of my magazine cover.

In order to get the right picture I had to make a few changes. My original photo was ok but lacked any real wowness about it. It was plain and didnt reaaly do anything. As a way of improving it, I  have made a few changes for the better. I have cropped it so that the picture is just of the model and I have changed the contrast. I have also brightened the picture to really capture them deep colours. It looks far more indie now then it did before and so it works perfectly for a front cover.
